Article requests : An additional, freely-licensed graphic would add reader interest.
Citing sources : This article could use additional sources. These could be from a notable publication or book, a newspaper (historical article about the fire?), a university yearbook, an official university portal listing or where the school comments on the student organization.
Infobox : The infobox is incomplete. The template best used for this entry, where you can see all available fields (--these things: "| = text") is the fraternity-specific infobox. This, and other useful items are linked on the Fraternities and Sororities Project page.
Maintain : Set a calendar reminder to check the article for necessary updates, annually.
Update : This is a good page; informative. This to do list only offers suggestions for improvement.
Wikify : For Infobox, Add relevant symbolism to the infobox, and note the number of lifetime members. Clarify whether SAAB is collegiate, community-based, or both. Occasionally, confirm the physical address (it changed last in mid-2020). Expand the History section, and re-write the copy with less of what we call "peacock" language. You might add a Symbolism section, add recognition colors if you use them, and a list of chapters, or link to it. Are yo a purely "social" organization? Or do you lobby, or serve in an advocacy or service role? A table listing notable members (~those with their own Wikipedia pages) would be useful. Overall, the biggest issue facing this page is that the language still has some "peacock" or promotional wording, which ought to be corrected.
Hi, I wanted to add a great deal of information to the Student African American Brotherhood page. I would add their mission, founder, history, accomplishments, etc. I have found information in a book entitled "African American Men in College" by Michael J. Cuyjet, and I have also found information on the organization's national website. I also plan to use a few news articles to list a few of their accomplishments. Please give me some feedback before I proceed in editing the page. Thank You -- Ka01851 (talk) 21:16, 22 September 2011 (UTC)Reply[reply]
