Invesco, based in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, is one of the largest investment managers in the UK, managing £91.59bn in assets[1] on behalf of individual clients, fund platforms, nominees, pension funds and other corporate institutions. The Invesco Perpetual name is retired as of 2018, as Invesco moved to operate all of its brands under the name Invesco.[2]

Invesco (UK) forms part of Invesco Ltd, an investment manager listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The group has more than 750 employees who operate in more than 150 countries. The firm also has presence 20 countries.[citation needed]

Invesco Perpetual was founded by Sir Martyn Arbib as Perpetual. In 2000, the company became a member of the AMVESCAP Group, which was subsequently renamed Invesco Ltd in 2008.

Queen Elizabeth II visited the company in 1998 to open its new headquarters, after opening the nearby River and Rowing Museum, which is situated by the river.[3] Invesco Perpetual and The Arbib Foundation are benefactors of the museum.[citation needed]

The company logo is a graphic image of Ama Dablam, a 6,856m (22,493 ft) mountain in the Himalaya range of eastern Nepal.

Invesco is a business name of Invesco Asset Management Limited and Invesco Fund Managers Limited, both of which are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
